The CYRTINA® Intraoral Scanner performs the digital impression of teeth and surrounding soft tissues. The scanner can be used directly into the patient’s mouth thanks to its heated lense that prevents fogging. However, can be also be used to scan a traditional silicone impressions or the stone model produced out of an impression. The scanner will not require powdering of the translucent surfaces, unless a faster scan procedure is desired by the user: in this case, Cyrtina will also provide the right opaquefier spray. The opaquefier will be needed in any case while scanning highly reflective surfaces, as, for example, implant scan abutments and markers.
